GEN connects history and community in new exhibition at the Baburizza Museum

Valparaíso, 2025 — The Baburizza Museum has opened its doors to “Territorial and Maritime Alphabet: Heritage Grammars,” a new exhibition that offers a visual journey through Chile’s maritime and territorial legacy. Featuring ship models, archival photographs, and heritage artifacts, the exhibition is free to the public and will run until June 8.

Organized with the support of GEN and its regional branches, the exhibition highlights the organization’s commitment to preserving and promoting Chile’s shared cultural memory. It aims to strengthen the connection between institutional history and the communities that surround it, fostering a deeper appreciation for the country’s identity through its landscapes and seascapes.

The exhibition invites visitors of all ages to rediscover key elements of Chile’s national history in a space designed to encourage dialogue between the past, present, and future.
