CMC opens new office in Hamburg and strengthens its international presence

Santiago / Hamburg, July 2025 — CMC (Compañía Marítima Chilena), a shipping company with over a decade of experience in international maritime transport, proudly announces the opening of its new office in Hamburg, Germany, marking a key milestone in its global expansion strategy.

With a fleet of 14 vessels and a strong operation in Latin America, CMC takes this step with the goal of positioning itself in one of Europe’s most important maritime markets. Although it is a competitive and niche market, the company is betting on its experience, operational efficiency, and personalized approach to deliver high-standard maritime transport solutions.

The new office will be led by Mauricio Ulloa Klug, a Chilean national who has been living in Germany for several years, and who will take on the role of Fleet Director. His deep knowledge of the sector and international experience will be key to consolidating CMC’s European operations.

“This opening represents not only a geographic expansion, but also a reaffirmation of our commitment to operational excellence and close service to our clients in Europe,” says Ulloa Klug.

With this new office, CMC reinforces its vision of being a Chilean maritime company with global reach, connecting continents and creating value through efficient, sustainable, and reliable logistics solutions.
