In a meaningful show of environmental and community commitment, more than 40 volunteers from GEN and its subsidiaries\u2014AGUNSA, CMC, REPORT, TPV, and SOLMIN\u2014took part in an ecological restoration day at the National Botanical Garden in the Valpara\u00edso region. <\/p>\n\n
This initiative is part of the ongoing recovery efforts following the devastating wildfire that affected over 90% of the garden\u2019s 395 hectares in February of last year. During the activity, volunteers planted 200 trees that had previously been used as part of GEN\u2019s year-end celebration, giving them a second life with an ecological purpose. <\/p>\n\n
\u201cWe took this opportunity to promote collaboration and connect with colleagues from other companies within the group, all united by a common goal: to contribute to the conservation and improvement of a symbolic space for the communities of Valpara\u00edso, Vi\u00f1a del Mar, and surrounding areas,\u201d said Nicol\u00e1s Calvo, AGUNSA\u2019s Deputy Manager of Sustainability.<\/p>\n\n
